Why we organise it this way
Most AI comparisons list features. Features are easy to count and almost useless for deciding, because every serious product now has most of them. What separates these tools is where they hold up under real work, and that differs completely by job.
So each outcome page answers one question: if this is the work in front of you, what should you use, and what will it cost you in trade offs. Every page shows what evidence sits behind the verdict, and when we last checked the facts.
Comparing on price instead?
This page sorts by job. If what you actually need is the raw numbers — price per million tokens and context window, side by side across all fourteen models — see the full price and context comparison, including a calculator for what a given volume of tokens would actually cost on each one.
A note on what we will not do
We will not publish an outcome page with four products we have not properly looked at, just to fill the grid. Pages marked in review are exactly that, and they stay unpublished until there is something worth reading.
